Tea Balls and Loose Leaf Tea – Use Them for Brewing

Loose leaf tea is a dried leaf that is soaked in boiling water using tea balls. Tea drinking originated in China 5000 years ago and has been an important part of popular culture ever since. Loose leaf tea is available in many different varieties, sizes and qualities. Generally it is of very good quality and the quality is much better than the bags. Most of the world’s best quality teas are always available in the loose form.

Some people say that it is very difficult to buy these. This is not the case, as it is easily available in the downtown stores and also online.Going online will be a better idea for buying this form of tea as there are many suppliers with attractive deals. The high competition among these suppliers keeps the prices at a very reasonable level.

Also, some say that it is not easy to prepare such tea and the process is very cumbersome. Actually the process is quite easy with the use of tea balls or infusers that facilitate brewing of tea in a very easy manner.

The various advantages of loose variety:

1. The quality of almost all loose variety- green, white, Wu long and black are better compared to the packed ones. The instant powdered, bottled, herbal, decaffeinated varieties are very good to taste and are healthy. The regular bags and pills have less or no anti-oxidants which make them less healthy.

2. No dust and only the leaves are used. In the case of loose variety, the person does not have to use the dust. Dust has no antioxidants and therefore is unhealthy for drinking.

3. Bleach residue may also be found in the bags and are very dangerous. These are usually chemicals and may affect the health of the drinker. On the other hand the loose variety has nothing as such.

4. The natural flavour and values of the drink is maintained as this variety is not much processed.
